About Dave

Dave studied computer science and mathematics in the 1980s, worked as a virtual artist in the 90s, fashion, reinsurance, and fashion again in the 00s, climate science in the 10s, and currently works as a software engineer.

He’s been coding since he was a kid. He’s been writing even longer than I've been coding. He is an avid lifelong science fiction reader.

Dave grew up on a farm in the Adelaide Hills in South Australia. He has lived and worked in Australia, the UK, US, Eastern and Western Europe, South East Asia, and India. He's been fortunate to have had a rich collection of lived experiences that inform his perspective.

Dave is married and lives in Canberra, Australia.
